Connector 1: in the back panel, 4th slot from the right, 4th connector from the top, labeled as "6".

Connector 2: in the back panel, 2nd column pair from the left, 2nd connector pair from top, labeled as "CD".

Connector 3: in the front panel, phones.

Connector 4: in the end of a cable, middle connector.

I:

Select CD, Check that speaker A and B are both off. Adjust sound level with the large knob on the right to 0.

II:

To turn on: Turn the topmost switch on the front panel to ON. To
turn off the terrible sound, turn the lowest switch shortly to MIC.

Check that the second button from top is in the middle position.
Check that the two switches in the back of the box are on CLINICAL.

for stimuli, turn the lowest switch in the front panel to NO MUSIC
for music, turn the lowest switch to MUSIC
for speaking, turn and hold the lowest switch to MIC

Adjust the sound level from the music button. For undistorted signal,
the rightmost green led should give light only dimly.
